I have short hair and I use about 4-5 sprays on a wet head before blow-drying. If you use too much and your hair will feel a little sticky and heavy after drying, but just enough and it will be smooth and nice. So a bottle will last you awhile... It has a mild, pleasant scent and seems to protect my hair from the blow dryer and curling iron. Knowing how much to use takes some trial and error -- too little won't protect your hair, and too much will leave your hair with a tacky feel.The problem I'm having with this is that any amount of pumping on the handle results in maybe only a spritz or two if I'm lucky, and then dribbles that run down the side. I rinse the nozzle each time with warm/hot water. I've even tried opening a brand new bottle to see if it was just a problem with my previous one, but the same issue occurred immediately. I also tried pouring the lotion into a different container, but then it was the wrong consistency to spray. With the leaking down the side, I'm wasting product and money.
