Nice stuff, quite economical, smells good. I am not sure if it makes much of a difference, though. I do like the CHI line, which is why this product got the 4 star and not the 3 star.

I'm writing this review because I noticed the previous reviewer here loved the smell of this.

I've only used this one day, so I can't comment on its effectiveness, but I find that the scent is unexpectedly off-putting.

It smells like a cheap men's fragranced shower gel or something.

I used it for the first time at a relative's house, and she walked by the bathroom after I'd sprayed it on my hair and *from the hallway* she said, "Oh my gosh, what are you doing in there? Turn the bathroom fan on to get that nasty smell out!"

I don't know yet how this works on broken/frizzy/flyaway hair. I think I can tell a positive difference with my hair in one use, but it's too early to say.

However, before you buy it, do what I didn't have the foresight to do at the store: unscrew the cap to see whether you like the smell or not!

I love this product! It smells amazing and really does leave your hair feeling silky smooth. As someone who irons their hair everyday I have tried a bunch of different product lines and I have liked this the most. Normally curls do not hold. However with this thermal activated setting spray I they do. The good thing is that the setting spray does not become like concrete, but it's texture becomes soft and smooth as if the curls are natural.

I have soft, fine hair that falls flat....unless I use this product!! I spritz this on my dry hair at the roots. I then use my fingers to rub it around into my roots, and then I blow dry my hair while lifting my hair up at the roots with a brush. This is "not" a long process. After my hair is dry, I have body and texture. If I decide to tease my hair a little, this just makes the tease hold so much better (I spritz hairspray where I tease as well). With this product and teasing, I go from flat hair, to full-bodied, glamorous hair. It's awesome. :)

I also find that this products helps curls stay in much longer if I spritz a strand with it before using a hot roller.

Edit: I dye my hair with natural hair color, such as NaturTint, Herbatint, etc., (not henna!), and when I use this product, it seems to make the roots go brassy and fade a little quicker, so you might keep that in mind. I'm currently going without this stuff to experiment--will add it back in... Read more

I have shoulder length, slightly wavy, slightly frizzy hair. Living on the Gulf Coast the humidity is a nightmare. Probably the worst location to live if you have hair issues! I bought this product after going through a lot of other sprays, serums, etc. After straightening my hair it looked amazing. It was very rainy and humid and my hair STILL looked shiny and sleek like I had left the salon! The price to me is worth it. Being unhappy about your hair is not a way to live--it's funny how much happier I am when my hair doesn't look like a hot mess. It cost alot of money but it is worth it! The moment I put it on my hair I could see a difference. My hair seems to be more soft and instantly looks healthier! If your an african american women with natural hair and you like to wear it straight, you have to use this product. I work out very often and I have to straighten my roots almost everyday and this product is the best heat protectant by far!
